A Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) gives you control over your energy costs over the long term and protects your company from price volatility. When you engage in a PPA from Primora, you will satisfy your business’s requirements for traceable, renewable energy certificates (Guarantees of Origin), while directly contributing to the creation of additional renewable energy parks across the Nordics.
A Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is a long-term agreement between your company and a power producer like Primora. It allows you to buy power at a fixed price, over a long duration. PPAs typically run for 10–20 years and can cover all or part of your electricity consumption.
Primora’s power comes from the primary source – the sun, and in turn our energy parks in Sweden; giving you full traceability and transparency about where your renewable power comes from. Our PPAs include bundled Guarantees of Origin for every kWh produced.
A fixed price throughout the contract term protects you from rising prices and market volatility, giving you greater predictability and making your electricity costs easier to budget.
You make no upfront investment and carry no operational risk. We build, own and operate the energy park.
Your agreement helps enable the development of new energy parks, bringing new renewable electricity to the grid that would otherwise not have been built. This allows your company to claim additionality – a step beyond traditional procurement of renewable power.

We have deep insight into delivering renewable power at scale. Primora is the leading solar Independent Power Producer in the Nordics; we are responsible for nearly 60% of all built solar parks in Sweden and have signed more PPAs than any other provider.
I am very pleased with the long-term stability and price certainty it provides. The decision to enter into a PPA was not made solely for our own benefit, but also to help bring more renewable energy to the local community.
The PPA with Primora has been straightforward and effective as I thought it would be. The model can seem complex if you haven’t worked with one before, but the Primora team makes the process easy to navigate. For us, the benefits in terms of sustainability, long-term price predictability and communications have been clear.
From the initial conversation to power delivered from the energy park. Before making a decision, you will receive a tailored proposal with full transparency on pricing, volume, and contract terms.
We review your power consumption, your goals, and how much of your consumption the agreement should cover.
You receive a proposal for selected assets, volume, and pricing, with the option to reserve the proposal through a term sheet before signing the final agreement.
The power is delivered from the energy park, with Guarantees of Origin included, giving you clear traceability for your sustainability reporting.
We see a Power Purchase Agreement as a partnership rather than a traditional customer-supplier relationship. Throughout the contract term, we remain a resource to help you navigate an ever-changing energy market.

Primora implements various initiatives such as grazing, pollinator habitats and willow planting, among many others, at our energy parks to positively impact the local ecosystem.
Reduce exposure to future carbon pricing and Scope 2 emissions risks while strengthening ESG compliance, supplier requirements, and sustainability reporting.
Rotational grazing of sheep doesn’t just clip the grass, it fertilizes the soil and brings birds, insects and a whole ecosystem of flora and fauna to our energy parks.
Verified by 3rd party researchers, these initiatives create a net positive impact on biodiversity and land quality – up to 8-fold increases over the lifetime of the park compared to the land before the park was built.
